Job description

Experience and Personal Attributes

  • Have no unspent Criminal convictions
  • Must be able to provide a full 5 year checkable employment/education history
  • Hold valid Passport/ (European card) or full driving license( it’s only for ID purpose, driving license is not required for this role)
  • Must have previous Customer Service experience
  • Approachable

Main Duties

  • To ensure passengers and their baggage are processed for the correct flight in accordance with established procedures
  • To verify the validity of passengers documentation, with respect to immigration and security considerations.
  • Assisting disrupted passengers in accordance with Duty Managers instructions and with reference to the carrier’s disruption procedures.
  • Attending to the needs of passengers who may require special assistance as a result of their age or physical condition.
  •   To supervise and carry out departure boarding control and safe co-ordination of passengers to and from the aircraft and the terminal building
  • To accurately control the boarding process, so as to be able to confirm the total number of passengers on board with reference to the security and safety considerations.
  • To deal with passengers in a positive and friendly manner at all times.
  • To meet inbound passengers and escort them to the correct baggage carousel.
  • To conform to the Company’s grooming regulations at all times.
  • Other duties will be assigned from time to time.
  • A good record for punctuality and time keeping
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Good Organizational and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Ability to work rostered shifts and to be flexible in the event of disruptions.
  • The discipline to carry out any valid instruction as requested by the Passenger Service Supervisors / Duty managers / Station Manager

(Candidates must be flexible to work shift work from 4:30am – 22:30pm. 8 hours shift for full time contract, 4 hour shift for part time contract)
